The 12th International IUPAC Conference on Polymer-Solvent Complexes and Intercalates will be held at Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble (France), on September 4-7, 2018.
Polysolvat-12 will be the new edition in a series of successful international meetings organized every two years, the most recent of which took place in Kolkata (India, 2016), Salerno (Italy, 2014) and Kiev (Ukraine, 2012). The conference will focus on the formation mechanisms, the morphology, the molecular structure, and the properties of compounds from synthetic polymers, biopolymers, proteins, and supramolecular polymers. Bulk state, solutions and systems formed at surfaces/interfaces will be considered. The conference will consist of invited lectures, oral communications and poster contributions. The extended proceedings will be published in a special issue of Macromolecular Symposia.
Invited speakers are:
Rachel Auzély – Centre de Recherches sur les Macromolécules Végétales, Grenoble (France)
E. Bhoje Gowd – CSIR – National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Kerala (India)
Jean-Michel Guenet – Institut Charles Sadron, Strasbourg (France)
Daniel Harries – Institute of Chemistry / Fritz Haber Center, Jerusalem (Israël)
Rebeca Hernandez – Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología de Polímeros (Spain)
Olli Ikkala – Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University (Finland)
Anna Mitraki – Department of Materials Science and Technology, University of Crete (Greece)
Marie Plazanet – Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Physique, Grenoble (France)
Petr Stepanek – Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Prague (Czech Republic)
Martin Weik – Institut de Biologie Structurale, Grenoble (France)
The deadline for abstract submission is May 30, 2018. Acceptance of abstracts will be notified on June 15.
You may submit abstracts through the meeting’s website. Upon your first submission, you will asked to create an Indico account that can be used later on to submit additional abstracts and edit/update them until the deadline.
