The ILL Director, Prof. Helmut Schober, took the Consult General on a tour of the Institute and its installations (photo) before telling him a little about the fruitful scientific collaboration between the ILL and Spain since the first Scientific Member contract was signed between the two partners 30 years ago.
The presentation helped mapping the neutron user community in Spain and included a reporting of the publications involving Spanish scientists and using data from the ILL.
The Consul was introduced with the Spanish CRGs (namely D1B and X-tremeD) at the ILL and the great value of “Made in Spain” components was also demonstrated on instruments such as IN16B.
